 According to Henry and Bonner, goal of psychology is to understand the facts and principles of behavior, art of controlling others and with better evaluation of ourselves.

According to Huffman in 1997, psychology has as a science has four goals. One is description of behavior, explanation of behavior, prediction and modification.

However goal of psychology mainly is to quality of behavior through diagnosis and prognosis. Hence to promote mental health well being in humen.
