Life is like ups and down, there is happiness as well as sadnesses.  If you are facing problems, have financial issues, have family trouble, have social pressures, dear this is what life is.  Try to live in a current situation, because you can give best of you and you have situations in your hand. Not to look at past and future because you have nothing to do with that and ofcourse you cannot. Infertility and mental health

As we all know that infertility is not a disease but it is a condition that includes problem of the reproductive system either in male or female. Many couples go through infertility problem in their life worldwide. Infertility leads to many problem that includes relationship instability between couples, it can be the frustration, feeling of sadness and hopelessness, feeling of worthlessness, anxiety and more prone to depression.


 

Why these symptoms or conditions are more likely to present in infertile couple as compared to fertile?

Because the infertile couple go through number of treatments and attempts in their life. And when they could not get the result positive they became frustrated and have feeling of sadness and hopelessness. Sometimes Hospital staff gave couple 100% hope to conceive but in the end the result is zero that leads to the more depressive condition. 

The couples with infertility problem most of the time deal with the behaviour of other people who question about their infertility and ask about their pregnancy. And in a result they may avoid those people and they do not interact with those kind of people who frequently asked about their infertility and discuss about the baby to conceive.

Talk therapy is recommended for these couples and also with the ongoing medical treatment they should go for their counselling so that their relationship stay stable and healthy.

IQ versus learning ability

 As a psychologist and professionalist, I have seen that people talk about IQ means intelligent quotient and assess their IQ by taking a test which is not developed according to our culture and our country. Rather than conducting a test and measuring IQ we should focus on the learning abilities through the trial and error method. Not only try and error method there several ways to measure and observe or assess the learning ability of a client. In trial and error method with the number of trial the response of the correct answers increases. And it showed the ability of a client to learn and retain the new things. But if the graph of the correct responses with the number of trials is not increased but show some deterioration then there is need to be checked the client properly and his learning abilities.  ..
