Life is like ups and down, there is happiness as well as sadnesses.  If you are facing problems, have financial issues, have family trouble, have social pressures, dear this is what life is.  Try to live in a current situation, because you can give best of you and you have situations in your hand. Not to look at past and future because you have nothing to do with that and ofcourse you cannot. Introduction

Hi I am Anam hanif, clinical psychologist, from Lahore, Pakistan. I am here on bloggerspot.com just to write, share and explain about the mental health. How it affects an individual and to deal with it. My goal is also to make clear about the myths and misconceptions about the psychologists. Further I would like to create awareness among people regarding the psychological problems. A clinical psychologist's role is to reduce the psychological distress and also to promote the psychological well being among people. They are specialized in dealing people who have major disorders and also they can diagnose the client on the basis of the symptoms, they come with. They work in different settings like hospital, schools, organizations or offices, etc. Now Psychologists are also working online and they are trained to take online sessions. The role of clinical psychologist during therapy session is assessment and management of the symptoms or disorder of the client. Number of sessions are taken with the client usually between 6 to 12 sessions, depending on the need and severity of the problem of clients. Some people have insight about their mental condition and they cope with their condition more early than those who don't have insight and also have low motivation. Psychology is all about human behavior and no one can change the behavior but it can be modified in a very healthy and helpful way.

IQ versus learning ability

 As a psychologist and professionalist, I have seen that people talk about IQ means intelligent quotient and assess their IQ by taking a test which is not developed according to our culture and our country. Rather than conducting a test and measuring IQ we should focus on the learning abilities through the trial and error method. Not only try and error method there several ways to measure and observe or assess the learning ability of a client. In trial and error method with the number of trial the response of the correct answers increases. And it showed the ability of a client to learn and retain the new things. But if the graph of the correct responses with the number of trials is not increased but show some deterioration then there is need to be checked the client properly and his learning abilities.  ..
