Overview
To have effective therapy sessions with client and to achieve goals, client therapist relationship is always seems to be very important. In a healthy client therapist relation rapport building is one of the first and an essential step, without rapport building therapist cannot conduct a session effectively.
While conducting a session ethical considerations are always on the priority.
Identity of the client remains private and data of client remains confidential in case of research.
During sessions, counselor make sure that any information of client will not be shared with others without client consent.
Counselor accept the client by not focusing on his race, color, status, age, gender,etc. This is the unconditional acceptance of the client.
For effective session, counselor should summarize the previous sessions in the start of the session. And also counselor should rephrase during the session (when required), what client has said.
